36-Year-Old Telegu News Anchor Commits Suicide By Jumping Off From Fifth Floor

0 1421 | April 2 , 2018 , 18:39 IST A 36-year-old Telegu news anchor Radhika Reddy working with V6 news chan nel allegedly committed suicide on Sunday late night after jumping from the terrace of her residence in Srivila Apartment in Moosapet, Hyderabad.
Returning from duty, she came to her house at around 10:40 pm and went to the top floor of the building and jumped off. Radhika sustained severe head injury and fractures and died on the spot.
In a suicide note found from her bag, Radhika wrote that she was taking the extreme step due to the depression and that "her brain is her enemy".
Based on preliminary investigation, it was found that she was under depression due to some family issues.
Radhika and her husband divorced each other 6 months ago and she was staying along with her parents since then. She had a 14-year-old boy who is said to be mentally challenged.
Kukatpally Police station have registered a case and are investigating the matte r.
